Molecules are made up of atoms, atoms consist of three or more particles together with hydrogen and oxygen atoms are packed into compounds. These compounds are the building blocks of living organisms and they provide us with energy to use as food, help us grow and reproduce and keep us alive.Molecules and compounds are essential to life and without them nothing would exist. The human body produces many molecules of different kinds but our bodies are unable to use all of these compounds at the same time. Molecules are made up of atoms so they are heavy and therefore it is impossible for a single molecule to carry large amounts of weight. To give you an example, in order to keep a human alive, one has to breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide.With the help of enzymes and gas exchange reaction, oxygen and carbon dioxide can be absorbed from the air and then transferred to the blood st ream where the oxygen will be carried out by the body to carry out various functions such as respiration. Thus the process of metabolism involves many molecules such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, sodium and glucose. However, all these are unable to transfer all the energy from these molecules to muscles, which need lots of energy to operate.With the help of gas exchange reaction, the molecules and their chemical bonds are linked in the right position and this allows the transfer of energy from all the molecules in a chain to a single molecule in the chain. This is where gas exchange reaction is used in order to extract energy from these molecules and transfer it to muscles. Organic chemistry enantiomers is one of the main ways to extract energy from molecules.The question that arises here is why should we use organic chemistry enantiomers when there are other ways of extracting energy from molecules. To give you an example, molecules such as glucose and sodium are not easily available in nature. It is very difficult to extract energy from these molecules and therefore only enzymes and gas exchange reaction can do so. Even though enzymes can extract energy from these molecules, there is always a limit to how much energy can be extracted from a single molecule.When a molecule of the same kind is mixed with many of its molecule that has been extracted, the overall molecules have to be measured to check how much energy has been extracted from the mixture. If the energy extracted is less than the energy needed to perform a certain function in the body, it means that there are bound to be many energy units that could be stored in the form of these organic chemistry enantiomers.There is a massive amount of energy in the form of these organic chemistry enantiomers so it can be used to store it in order to continue to perform the same function. The storage of energy in this way is called stored energy and is not used up by the enzyme. This energy can then be released to p erform the same function again without any energy units. Thus, energy that has been extracted from one molecule can be further extracted from the molecules that have been extracted.
